These pictures were taken during my last diving holiday with my friend Nick on board the liveaboard M/Y Discovery, out of Hurghada, Egypt. I met some very nice German and Austrian divers who were excellent divers and who were fun to be with. I have to thank them for making the effort to speak English to me as I don't speak any German (although I want to learn). The boat was good, the crew were good and the food (as always in Egypt) was excellent. The dive guides, Amr (Egyptian) and Muskan (German) were extremely experienced divers and were absolutely familiar with all the reefs and wrecks we dived that week. Both were multi-lingual and were good fun to be with. The holiday was booked through Heather and Sherif at Discovery Divers who were very friendly and helpful and everything they planned went very smoothly and was hassle-free.
I have tried to identify all the species in the photos but I might have a couple wrong so if you can correct me on some then please do. These pictures were taken with an Olympus C-770 Ultra Zoom digital camera .There are more aquatic photos in the M/Y Orchid gallery and the Marsa Alam gallery
